Lama Lodru 2008
The Oklahoma Rimé Foundation is pleased to announce that Venerable Lama Lödru Rinpoche will be in Oklahoma City from June 23-25, 2008. His schedule includes offering refuge, Chenrezig (Avalokitshvara) empowerment and very precious teachings. Lama Lödru Rinpoche is a Tibetan teacher who is the spiritual director of Kagyu Droden Kunchab [www.kdk.org], a Vajrayana Tibetan Buddhism center in San Francisco. Many people in our Dharma community have expressed strong interest in this kind of rare opportunity to establish a profound connection to the authentic Vajrayana teachings of Tibet. MONDAY, JUNE 23, 2008 (Evening) Public Dharma Talk With Q&A 7 Pm To 9 Pm Tuition: Suggested Donation $10 (Optional) TUESDAY, JUNE 24, 2008 (Daytime) Private Interviews With Rinpoche 10:30 Am To 12 Noon And 2 Pm To 4 Pm TUESDAY, JUNE 24, 2008 And WEDNESDAY, JUNE 24, 2008 (Evenings) Chenrezig Empowerment And Instruction With Commentary By Rinpoche. Events start at 7 pm each day and continue until about 9 pm. The first evening will begin with a Refuge Ceremony.
